Instec Heating and Cooling Stages available at Meyer Instruments, Inc.
TS102S
Instec's TS102S is a Thermo Electric Cooler (Peltier) based thermal stage heats and cools from -25°C to 120°C. Cools down to -15°C with ambient water or -25°C with ice water chiller. With an open surface and clamps to fit the standard 25mm x 75mm microscope slides, this Peltier stage is as quick and easy as things can get for many simple experiments.
TS102/TS102XY
Instec's TS102/TS102XY is a Thermo Electric Cooler (Peltier) based stage that can provide cooling to -40°C without using liquid nitrogen. This simplifies the system set up, reduces operating costs, and makes it a convenient choice for performing long duration experiments at low temperatures. The TS102/TS102XY heats and cools from -40°C to 120°C. features convenient side loading of samples and accommodates standard 25mm x 75mm microscope slides as well as Instec liquid crystal cell holders.
HCS302/HCS302XY
Instec's HCS302/HCS302XY was designed for optical microscopy and spectroscopy. Heats
and cools from -60°C to 400°C, fits standard 25mm × 75mm microscope slides, Sample side-loading. Top and bottom dual pane windows on the HCS302/HCS302XY stage are removable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically, allowing horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. The stage is large enough to accommodate a variety of samples, including electro-optic devices and standard 25mm x 75 mm microscope slides. An inner thermal cover is also included for work requiring ultra-high temperature stability and uniformity.
HCS302GXY
The Instec HCS302GXY features a gas-tight sample chamber which can be gas purged to prevent condensation or to make measurements under a controlled atmosphere and at a set temperature of -190°C to 400°C, Top and bottom dual pane windows on the HCS302GXY stage are removable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically, allowing horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. An inner thermal cover is also included for work requiring ultra-high temperature stability.
HCS402/HCS402XY
Instec's HCS402/HCS402XY microscope hot and cold stage features a dual heater design which virtually eliminates vertical temperature gradients in the sample chamber. This makes the HCS402/HCS402XY temperature controlled environment an ideal choice for thicker samples or when the best available temperature uniformity is necessary. Top and bottom dual pane windows in the HCS402/HCS402XY stage are removeable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically for applications requiring horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. The interior of the HCS402/HCS402XY is large enough to accommodate a variety of samples, including electro-optic devices and standard 25 mm x 75 mm microscope slides.
TSA12Gi
Instec's TSA12Gi is Thermo Electroc Cooler (Peltier) based thermal stage designed specifically for inverted optical microscopes. It features a large and gas tight sample chamber, simple thermal control, improved atmospheric control, wide adjustable viewing window, and customizable base plate. Heats and cools from -25°C to 90°C with single Peltier.
HCS321Gi
Instec's HCS321Gi hot and cold stage is designed specifically for inverted optical microscopes. Its small form factor allows for easy mounting onto all common inverted microscope platforms. The HCS321Gi offers the widest tempertature range available for inverted microscope applications and a fully enclosed sample chamber for enhanced temperature unifomity.

MITO2 DIGITAL CAMERAS
Instec's MITO2 camera system integrates digital image acquisition and time-temperature recording into a convenient package for use with Instec's microscope hot and cold stages and plates. USB communication and passive cooling make the MITO2 camera a fast and robust option for adding digital image acquisition to any optical microscope. Using our WinDV module - now integrated into Instec's InstecApp software - each sample image is stamped with the sample temperature, time and date, and experiment notes provided by the user.
C100W / C300W / C500W CHILLERS
• Recirculating chillers with ice water compartments provide rapid cooling of sample area to near 1°C (depending on model)
• All chiller models can be used for frame cooling
• C300W, C500W, and C610W require the FVC9 coolant flow control system for sample cooling using the mK2000 out2 port
• C300W, C500W, and C610W require the FVC1 coolant flow control system for frame cooling of thermoelectric stages using the mK2000 out3 port
LN2 LIQUID NITROGEN COOLING SYSTEMS
• Liquid nitrogen systems provide sample cooling to as low as -190°C depending on pump power and thermal block size
• Systems consist of a pump, a Dewar, a lid with a stoppered port for refilling during operation, and connecting tubing
• Three liquid nitrogen pump output options available, LN2-P2, LN2-P4, and LN2-P8, which suction liquid nitrogen through the equipment and are controlled by the mK2000
